Entry to Costa Rica is Simple

Starting April 1st, 2022 Costa Rica will lift all restrictions for international travelers to enter the country.  Tourists will no longer be required to fill out a health pass form to enter the country, nor buy travel insurance.  

          All businesses including restaurants, and bars will not require that patrons show a vaccination card to enter, this includes all restaurants and the beach club in Los Suenos.

          All driving and curfew restrictions have been lifted and bars and restaurants can go back to pre-pandemic hours and stay open until 2 am.

          Proof of COVID 19 Vaccination will not be required to enter the country.

Returning to The United States

Starting December 6, all air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before travel to the United States or must show documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before you board your flight. Children under 2 years old do not need to test. Air passengers will also be required to confirm in the form of an attestation that the information they present is true.
